Danielle Capillo

Danielle Capillo is a student of Public Health at Eastern Kentucky University. Danielle’s main interest in community nutrition, sustainable agriculture and the local agriculture economy. She holds a BA in Child and Family Studies with an emphasis in Nutrition from Berea College. For the past 5 years she has managed the Eastridge Community Garden in Berea KY, coordinating and expanding the garden to include 16 garden plots, a play space, and shared orchard and berry patch. She is interested in partnering with local schools to share the experience of growing food to children.
