Laura is the Associate Director for Ecosystem for UK Innovate at the University of Kentucky (UK) and the Executive Director and Lead Instructor for Launch Blue.

Before coming to UK, Laura spent over three years helping stand up the MIT Innovation Initiative where she set up and managed initiative operations, supported the student entrepreneurial community by designing innovative student programming and managed the student startup coworking space. She also worked with members of the external community wishing to engage with the faculty and students around innovation and entrepreneurship. Laura has a Bachelor of Science in political science from Troy University and a Master of Finance from Harvard University Extension School.
