Ryan Murphy is a Fellow with the Innovation Connect Team at UK Innovate. Ryan graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BBA in Finance & Agricultural Economics and is currently in his second year of the Agricultural Economics Master’s program in the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food & Environment (MG-CAFE).   

During his time at UK, Ryan had the opportunity to intern with Kentucky Farm Business Management, an extension of the MG-CAFE’s Agricultural Economics Department, as a Farm Financial Analysis Intern.  

Ryan is interested in the business and financial side of agricultural production, particularly commercial farming, bourbon production, regenerative agriculture and land management. After he completes the MS program in August, Ryan’s goal is to serve as a financial analyst or consultant in the agribusiness sector.
