Suniti Mujumdar
- Program Manager, Social Innovation
Suniti Mujumdar is the Social Innovation Program Manager with UK Innovate at the University of Kentucky. Working alongside an all-star team, she applies curiosity, creativity, and collaboration to advance the impact of social innovation. In this role, she supports campus and community entrepreneurs with early-stage innovations through product development, business formation, funding opportunities, and partnership connections.
Suniti’s professional career began at Appalachian Regional Healthcare, where she applied her marketing expertise to amplify the message and mission of ARH. At Alltech, a global leader in sustainable nutrition for agriculture, she managed an expansive portfolio of innovative brands and projects while mentoring junior staff. Her dedication to supporting colleagues’ professional growth led to a senior leadership position within the company’s Culture and Talent team, where she drove talent development, learning and development, workforce engagement, and cultural continuity. She is a steadfast champion for cultivating workplace environments that embrace inclusion and foster a sense of belonging.
Suniti holds degrees in psychology from Transylvania University and an Executive MBA from the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville. Reflecting her commitment to continuous learning, she is pursuing a master’s in legal studies at Vanderbilt University.
With a purpose-driven ethos that extends to her community, Suniti also serves as the Governance Committee Chair for the Bluegrass Community and Technical College Foundation Board. She volunteers at Baptist Health Cancer Center and serves as the Assistant Treasurer for the Baptist Health Auxiliary Board.
