A Colombian native, Adriana worked for the State of Arizona in various health care programs for over 14 years. Before moving to the United States, Adriana studied Law at the Universidad Militar Nueva Granada in Bogotá, and lived abroad in France after completing her studies. She moved to Kentucky in 2019, and has been working at the University managing the Clinical Research Administrative Services and Billing Integrity Program with the CRSO. She has vast experience in health care administration, compliance, government contracts, policy development, and clinical research management.

Adriana earned her Bachelor Degree in Public Administration from Northern Arizona University, where she graduated with honors, and holds an MPA with emphasis in government and policy from the Grand Canyon University.

Adriana’s international perspective gives her a profound appreciation of diversity. She and her daughter founded an organization to help rural children in Colombia – the foundation is devoted to provide resources for education.
