Originally from Egypt, Hany has led a dynamic and diverse career in civil engineering, training, and project management across multiple countries. Having spent a significant part of life in Kuwait and later moving to the USA in 2017, Hany has sought knowledge through his training in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Singapore, the UK, and the USA.
Hany is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and a wealth of experience in civil engineering, training, and project management. Having earned a B.Sc. in Civil & Environmental Engineering in 2004, Hany went on to acquire numerous certifications in leadership, team building, and various training programs. Notably, he is currently pursuing a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, showcasing his commitment to excellence in project management.
In his current role as a Research Systems Educator – IT Trainer Senior at the University of Kentucky’s Markey Cancer Center, Hany plays a pivotal role in coordinating and delivering trainings for the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS). He efficiently manages research systems support activities, ensuring strict compliance with established standards.
Prior to his current position, Hany served as the Training and Professional Development Coordinator at the Community Action Council in Central and South-Central Kentucky. Additionally, he held the position of Co-Founder & Chief Operations Officer at InnovEngine Training & Consulting Company, contributing significantly to the company's growth and success.
Hany is widely recognized for his expertise in training and coaching. He has been a Certified Trainer on Leadership, Innovation, and Human-Centered Design demonstrating his commitment to leadership in these fields. He also serves as a Facilitator for The Leadership Challenge Workshop and is an Associate Leadership Coach with The Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholders Centered Coaching.
In addition to his professional achievements, Hany has left an indelible mark in the literary world as a co-writer of the "The Laws of Professional Training", published in June 2017. The book provides valuable insights into professional training, featuring 220 laws to enhance training sessions' effectiveness and introducing concepts related to e-learning and virtual training.
Hany's career extends beyond the training realm, with significant roles in construction management, project engineering, and site engineering in Kuwait and Egypt. Hany blends technical expertise with a passion for training, leadership, and innovation, making significant contributions to diverse fields and organizations. Hany has been married since 2010 and is a father to two amazing daughters. He’s a former professional swimmer and loves to get to know people and interact with them.
