Allison’s 15 years of experience in higher education includes roles in communications, marketing, public relations, and alumni/development offices at public and private institutions. Allison earned her master’s degree in communication from American University and her Ph.D. in educational policy studies & evaluation from UK. At PDO, she focuses on supporting nominations for prestigious awards and honorifics, along with general proposal development across disciplines. Her agency responsibilities cover several non-NIH Department of Health and Human Services agencies, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, as well as numerous private foundations.
