Zachary Stacy, J.D., is the Associate Director of Intellectual Property Development for UK Innovate at the University of Kentucky (UK), where he works with UK innovators to identify, analyze and protect innovations developed at the university.

Zach is a licensed patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). He worked in industry for several years, including a startup in Los Angeles and a central Kentucky aerospace manufacturer, where he held roles in capital project engineering and gained experience in intellectual property development, licensing and acquisition. Zach holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering and a Juris Doctorate, both from the University of Kentucky.
