In the Embedded: Advanced Scuba Certification and Coral Reef Ecology course, students have the opportunity to earn numerous scuba certifications, while learning about the impact of environmental stress on coral reef ecosystems.

Organized by the UK Office of Undergraduate Research, the program is a leadership opportunity for undergraduates who are passionate about promoting undergraduate research at UK and helping other undergraduates find their path.

Nominations are due April 1 and awards will be presented at the Showcase of Undergraduate Scholars’ awards ceremony at 3 p.m. April 26.
