K-12 Teacher Training on Climate and Health
Climate and Health in Kentucky: Exploring K-12 Curriculum Connections is a virtual professional development workshop for educators. This free, interactive workshop will help answer important questions such as:

What does climate change look like in Kentucky?

How does climate influence human health?
-
What can we do about it?
-
What opportunities exist for incorporating climate and health content into classroom instruction?
During the live session to be held on Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2023, from 4 to 6 p.m., ET, UK-CARES leaders will provide content that aligns with the Next Generation Science Standards. This workshop is designed by and for educators and open to all who participate in the K-12 school system in Kentucky. Space is limited and registration is required. Attendees will receive confirmation of two hours of professional development upon completion of an online evaluation.
