At a minimum, the online video tutorials should be reviewed before initiating an E-IRB application (also available on the E-IRB Log-In page).
ORI offers multiple services to assist researchers in a variety of formats:
- Request a one-on-one consultation with ORI staff. ORI staff can address questions or provide guidance on topics including, but not limited to:
- one of your IRB applications;
- IRB policies/regulations;
- navigation and usage of E-IRB.
- Attend ORI's monthly “ORI Office Hours” online or in-person (upon request).
- Visit ORI's Training & Education web page.
If you don’t know who to reach out to specifically, to help ensure appropriate staff are prompted to assist you:
- E-IRB application and navigation questions can be directed to IRB Submissions.
- Reliance questions can be directed to the IRB Reliance Team.
- Human Subject Protection Training questions can be directed to the HSP Training Support Team.
- Technical issues like bugs and workflow problems in E-IRB can be reported to E-IRB Support.
