Message from Ilhem Messaoudi, UK Acting Vice President for Research

I am honored to be serving as acting vice president for research at the University of Kentucky. My goal is to build on the outstanding work already being done at UK — and throughout Kentucky — to bring the power and possibility of discovery to everyone.

On September 12, 2024, Ilhem Messaoudi was announced as the Acting Vice President for Research. Dr. Messaoudi joined UK in 2021 as a professor and chair of the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics in the UK College of Medicine.
