The Sustainable Futures Design Lab is a collective of University of Kentucky researchers dedicated to socially responsible, critically engaged design that drives meaningful impact in Kentucky and beyond.

By bringing together scholars from across disciplines, the lab fosters new collaborations, shares resources and supports creative scholarship that is deeply connected to community needs and global challenges.

Upcoming Event: Cooking Up Collaboration

Join the Sustainable Futures Design Lab (SFDL) within the TRUST Hub for an interactive cooking experience that blends food, conversation and community. This event sparks connections across disciplines, encouraging participants to explore transdisciplinary translational research opportunities while working together in the kitchen. Through hands-on collaboration and dialogue, attendees will engage in conversations about innovative, community engaged solutions that strengthen resiliency in Kentucky.
