Our goal is to provide efficient, consistent and effective award services – from proposal development, proposal and budget drafting, proposal submission, award activation and project closeout – to enable principal investigators (PIs) to focus on research goals.

Sponsored Project = a grant, contract or agreement that UK enters into with an external sponsor for research activity.
As a principal investigator (PI), once you have reviewed literature related to your idea and are ready to pursue funding, notify your department chair and work with the Proposal Development Office (PDO).
