Main Building in Summer

Use of SciENcv is required for Other Support requests received October 1, 2025, or later, including proposals, just-in-time requests and progress reports (i.e., NIH RPPRs).

This is in anticipation of requiring SciENcv government-wide, as well as to enable your Collaborative Grant Services (CGS) Pre- or Post-Award Grant Specialist to quickly enter this information into the appropriate format, regardless of sponsor, for these requests. This will also serve as an institution-specific training requirement to meet compliance requirements of NOT-OD-25-133: NIH Announces a New Policy Requirement to Train Senior/Key Personnel on Other Support Disclosure Requirements.

A principal investigator (PI) can delegate to their lab or other department/unit staff to support data entry. The PI must certify the final document. CGS can format the document based on sponsor requirements and provide a review for compliance before the Office of Sponsored Projects Administration (OSPA) submits it to the sponsor.

Currently, this tool only allows for an NSF-formatted template for Other Support. Please use this template for all sponsors until the Common Forms are fully implemented.

CGS staff will offer training on how to use a new series of Tableau reports to support the creation of an Other Support document in SciENcv on:

  • August 28, 11 a.m.- 12 p.m.
  • September 11, 1-2 p.m.
  • September 18, 3-4 p.m.

Advance registration is required. Register here: UK SciENcv Training. Registrants will be sent a Zoom link approximately 24 hours before the session.

Thank you for your attention to this new process.
