NSF Safe and Inclusive Working Environments Policy and Plan

NSF requires development and distribution of a Safe and Inclusive Working Environment Plan for proposals that involve off-campus or off-site research activities. See the OSPA website (Proposals tab) for information on NSF’s policy and related UK requirements/processes.

New Department of Research Safety

In response to significant growth in research funding and facilities the Division of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) announces the creation of the Department of Research Safety. Research Safety will provide tailored client-centered services to the UK research community, expanding and enhancing safety and compliance activities for labs utilizing biological, radiological or chemical hazards.
