2025 Society of Postdoctoral Scholars Annual Research & Career Symposium
The Society of Postdoctoral Scholars at the University of Kentucky hosts their Annual Research & Career Symposium to showcase the work of UK postdoctoral scholars and fellows, promote networking among the UK research community, and encourage discussions on career paths for postdocs and PhD students.
Symposium objective
The objective of the symposium is to give postdocs an opportunity to share their research, celebrate their successes, network with peers (including graduate students & faculty), develop professionally, and learn about possible career options.
Who is invited?
The Society of Postdoctoral Scholars promotes the exchange of ideas across disciplines. As such, postdocs from all fields are invited to participate!
The Society of Postdoctoral Scholars also aims to foster cross-generational conversations with up-and-coming PhDs as well as established faculty. As such, graduate students & faculty are welcome and encouraged to attend! In fact, given how broad and diverse the audience will be, postdoc presentations will be general and accessible to a wide audience.
