Due to demand, Inclusive Excellence and Diversity Education (IEDE) is pleased to announce summer dates for the newly expanded three-part Unconscious Bias Initiative. This initiative is open to all University of Kentucky faculty and staff.
Eligible employees have another chance to participate in community supported agriculture (CSA) and enjoy fresh produce this season through a new pilot initiative.
The online event on May 20 is expected to draw interest from a variety of disciplines including geology, geography, environmental sciences, forestry, public health, computer science and statistics.
UK Office of Undergraduate Research awarded four faculty members for exemplary commitment to undergraduate mentoring. The awards were presented during the Showcase of Undergraduate Scholars.
The award funds up to $25,000 for undergraduates and graduate students to support language study and research in world regions critical to U.S. interests.
Recipients include faculty, staff and alumni who have significantly contributed to the university’s global engagement through education, research, service and fostering a culturally diverse, welcoming environment.
This study will help definitively answer whether the FDA-authorized Moderna COVID-19 vaccine prevents the spread of the virus, and not just illness in the person who is vaccinated.
