UK Innovate, the University of Kentucky’s innovation and entrepreneurship enterprise within UK Research, has received a competitive grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA).

The award from the American Chemical Society (ACS) and the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry honors Guy for outstanding contributions to medicinal chemistry.

The Kentucky Network for Innovation and Commercialization (KYNETIC) funded nine projects in the Cycle 5 round of early-stage commercialization grants. The NIH grants are awarded to teams across Kentucky for new, innovative products that have the potential to impact human health.

Cortney Lollar is one of this year’s Great Teacher Award recipients. As the James and Mary Lassiter Professor of Law in the J. David Rosenberg College of Law, Lollar enjoys the reciprocal learning relationship between herself and her students.
