~$5 million in additional funding from the Global Health Innovative Technology Fund (GHIT) has been awarded to the lab of Dean Kip Guy at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy, in partnership with Eisai Pharmaceuticals and Medicines for Malaria Venture (MMV), for ongoing malaria research.

The team's small spacecraft — a 7-inch diameter re-entry capsule — reached an altitude of 94 miles before coming back down to Earth. Video taken on board the rocket, complete with a UK logo, shows the capsule being ejected before entering the atmosphere.
