UK HealthCare Cardiologist Named Editor of Medical Journal

Dr. Vincent L. Sorrell, the Anthony N. DeMaria professor of Medicine and director of Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging at UK Gill Heart & Vascular Institute, will become editor-in-chief of CASE, an international cardiovascular imaging case reports journal.

Webb Museum of Anthropology Awarded Save America’s Treasures Grant

The museum, located in the Anthropology Research Building, houses a world-renowned collection from more than 250 properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The grant will be used to improve environmental conditions of the 10,000-square-foot collections storage area.

3 Wildcats Awarded 2021-22 Goldwater Scholarship

This year's Goldwater Scholars were selected from a field of 1,256 math, science and engineering students who were nominated by the faculties of 438 of the nation's colleges and universities. The program fosters and encourages outstanding students pursuing careers in mathematics, the natural sciences and engineering.

UK's Margaret Mohr-Schroeder Elected President of the School Science and Mathematics Association
