Designing energy efficient buildings that are both functional and attractive raises the question of how do people adjust to a building that is adapting to them. 

Dr. Melody Carswell and her students investigate how occupants, including themselves, respond to the new, adaptable Davis Marksbury research building on the University of Kentucky campus.
