New Mandatory Research Security Training for GRAs and Postdocs
We are introducing new research security training for all graduate research assistants (GRAs) and postdocs at the University of Kentucky. “Best Practices in Research Security” from Security, Export, Compliance and University Research Engagement (SECURE) provides practical guidance on protecting research and data, including international travel, cybersecurity, international collaborations, disclosure requirements, foreign talent recruitment programs, export controls and importing biological materials.
Completion of this training is a new, mandatory requirement for all GRAs and postdocs. The training will be assigned through MyUK Learning.
We ask supervisors and principal investigators (PIs) to help ensure that GRAs and postdocs in their areas complete this required training. Please share this information with your teams and follow up with them to ensure completion of their MyUK Learning assignment.
Thank you for your partnership in helping our research community meet this new training requirement.
