Adreonna Rainey
Research Impact and Assessment Intern
Adreonna is studying biology and minoring in neuroscience at the University of Kentucky, from Louisville, Kentucky. She has been involved with UK’s Sustainability Internship Program (SIP), previously serving as a Storytelling and Communications Intern before returning as a Research and Impact Intern under the mentorship of Dr. Lauren Cagle. Adreonna is passionate about environmental and health justice, research, and community engagement. On campus, Adreonna serves as the MANRRS representative on the Student Sustainability Council, Co-President of the UK NAACP, and a member of the National Council of Negro Women. Outside of her academic and leadership pursuits, she serves as a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters and volunteers with CASA. Adreonna enjoys roller skating, volunteering, and visiting amusement parks.
