Jeff Haines, Ph.D.

Proposal Development Officer

Jeff earned a doctorate in history from the University of Washington with a focus on medieval East Syrian communities. During this time, he secured research awards from federal and private sources including the Ford Foundation, the State Department FLAS program, and ANAMED: The Koç University Research Center for Anatolian Civilizations. His professional experience prior to joining UK included working as a grant writer securing funding for technology research and development, energy and civic infrastructure, small businesses, and manufacturing. He also previously worked in marketing at an academic press. At PDO, Jeff’s primary agency responsibilities include the Departments of Energy, Transportation, Commerce, and Interior as well as NASA.
