Lori Payne Eisele, J.D., M.P.A.

Contract Specialist

Lori brings three decades of experience spanning law, healthcare, research administration, compliance and university operations to UK Innovate's Office of Technology Commercialization.

Before joining UK Innovate, Lori spent more than 28 years in the legal profession, including many years with Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, where she focused on healthcare regulatory matters, compliance, client service, administrative law proceedings and complex problem solving. She also served in a variety of hearing officer, mediator and attorney roles for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, developing extensive expertise in regulatory processes, policy interpretation, dispute resolution and stakeholder engagement.

Lori previously served in the University of Kentucky College of Nursing, where she supported research operations, Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions, study coordination, fiduciary management and legal and financial navigation initiatives involving UK researchers, patients, caregivers and external partners.

Drawing on her diverse background in law, research, healthcare and compliance, Lori supports the Office of Technology Commercialization by helping advance innovation, navigate complex processes and provide exceptional service to University of Kentucky researchers and partners.
