Nina Amster
Senior Contracts Manager
Nina is the Senior Contracts Manager for UK Innovate at the University of Kentucky, where she is focused on drafting and negotiating agreements.
Before joining UK, she managed copyright and licensing agreements for the American Law Institute, including negotiating, drafting and overseeing agreements and issuing DMCA takedown notices for intellectual property violations. She also negotiated and drafted agreements related to the administration of ALI’s offices and building. She previously worked at a local housing nonprofit, researching affordable housing options and conducting community outreach. Earlier in her career, she worked in the real estate group at Ballard Spahr and at Berger & Montague on antitrust litigation.
She earned dual bachelor’s degrees in economics from the Wharton School and in political science from the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania. She later received her law degree from Villanova University’s Charles Widger School of Law, where she served as an editor of the Villanova Law Review and was elected an Honor Board representative.
