Discover the latest advances in cancer research by submitting your abstracts and attending Markey Cancer Center Research Day on May 7, 2019.
UK researchers – students, post-doctoral fellows, faculty and staff – have the opportunity to share their work in an atmosphere of learning and collaboration through several avenues such as:
- Poster sessions
- Oral presentations (invited)
- Luncheon
- State of the Cancer Center Address
- Susan B. Lester Memorial Lecture, presented by Ned Sharpless, MD, Director of the National Cancer Institute.
Prizes are awarded to graduate students and to post-doctoral fellows for the best posters in categories such as basic science, clinical, translational, population-based and more.
In addition to the poster competition, the judges select an abstract from one graduate student, one post-doctoral fellow and one junior faculty member to be presented during the oral presentations.
Guidelines for the preparation and submission of abstracts are available here: Abstract Submission Guidelines.
