Guest speakers: UK-CARES members Dr. Erin Haynes, DrPH, MS (Professor, University of Kentucky), and Misti Allison, MPH (Research Coordinator, University of Kentucky), along with Dr. Jill Johnston (Associate Professor, University of California).
   
This session highlighted community-engaged strategies to address environmental health science challenges following the 2023 train derailment. Key EHS topics included: exposure science and environmental epidemiology, public health surveillance, and community resilience and advocacy.
