Core Facilities Expo

The University of Kentucky Research Core Facility Expo will showcase the breadth of shared research resources that power discovery across the UK research community. This open exhibit-style event brings together core facility teams, faculty, researchers, staff, and students to explore the advanced technologies, specialized expertise, and services available to support innovative and high-quality research. UK’s core facilities provide access to state-of-the-art instrumentation, expert consultation, and specialized methodologies, from advanced imaging and microscopy to materials characterization, biospecimen services, and clinical research technologies. Through interactive exhibits and one-on-one conversations with core experts, attendees will gain practical insight into how these shared resources can strengthen experimental design, accelerate research progress, and enhance competitiveness for external funding. The Core Facility Expo also fosters interdisciplinary collaboration by connecting investigators with core facility partners and introducing students and postdocs to tools and expertise that support their research development.
