Dr. Tarima holds a PhD in statistics from the University of Kentucky. After graduation, he held a faculty appointment in the Medical College of Wisconsin, and since August 2025, he has been a faculty member in the Department of Biostatistics of the University of Kentucky. His statistical research interests include, but are not limited to, the use of additional information in statistical estimation and adaptive designs (sequential testing, sample size re-estimation).
