PDO Bootcamp: Writing an NSF Proposal, Session 1-Foundations of NSF Proposals
While the federal agencies are weathering changes and closures, the standing programs at the National Science Foundation are still accepting investigator-initiated proposals, many with rolling or flexible deadlines. Join this two-part bootcamp with the Proposal Development Office to learn how to navigate NSF and start writing a strong proposal with a supportive cohort.
Who should attend: faculty working in any discipline that NSF supports, who are brand-new to NSF or who have a proposal to adapt for a new submission.
Session 1- Foundations of NSF Proposals
This virtual session will cover NSF’s organization, programs and funding mechanisms. We will also discuss NSF proposal requirements and review criteria. Participants will be ready to write a one-page project overview to share with colleagues, collaborators and NSF program officers.
