Subventions and Publication Costs in the Humanities and Social Sciences
With print sales in decline, more and more academic presses are requesting subventions – contributions from authors and universities to help underwrite publication costs. In this talk, PDO staff will discuss what subventions are, how to position your book for publication, and how to find funds to support your work.
This talk will replace the previously announced “NSF for the Social Sciences,” originally scheduled for this time slot.
