Upcoming Department of Defense (DOD) opportunities (DEPSCoR-RC and ONR-YIP)

In this session we'll provide an overview of two recently-released funding opportunities from the Department of Defense (DOD): The Defense Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (DEPSCoR) - Research Collaboration (RC) and the Office of Naval Research (ONR) Young Investigator Program (YIP). For each opportunity, we will outline the eligibility rules and what’s required to apply. We’ll then give guidance on how to interpret the research topics listed in each NOFO, and how to relate them to your research; discuss when and how to reach out to DOD Program Officers; and offer strategies for developing a competitive proposal, including insights from successful applications.
