Ready to Fly: The 2012 High School Wing Design Competition
The Kentucky Institute for Aerospace Education and NASA Kentucky presents the 2012 Annual Wing Design Competition for high school students.
Teams from high schools around the state begin working months in advance to design and build wings that will fly on a remote control airplane. On the competition day each team flies their best design, however, the real results of this completion are seen in the impact on the students themselves.
