UK's Community and Economic Development Initiative of Kentucky is aligning with the UK Land-grant Engagement and other partners to accelerate economic and community development across Kentucky.
Representatives from the University of Kentucky, the Woodbury Corporation and state and local officials celebrated the official opening of The CoRE — Collaboration. Research. Entrepreneurship facility at UK’s Coldstream Research Campus.
As part of the partnership, Summit will manufacture a multidose nasal spray presentation of AdCOVID, Altimmune’s intranasal COVID-19 vaccine candidate. AdCOVID is currently being evaluated in a phase 1 clinical trial of healthy adult volunteers between the ages of 18 and 55.
