Women’s Perspectives in Arts Administration

In our inaugural symposium, Women’s Perspectives in Arts Administration will celebrate the contributions of women-identifying scholars in the interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary field of arts administration. We are bringing together an intergenerational group of women scholars, from undergraduate students to emeritus professors into a one-day symposium themed: The Past, Present, and Future of Scholarship. 

Workshop: Intro to the IRB Process

Getting Started: The IRB Process is presented by the UK Office of Research Integrity and will provide an overview introduction to what IRB is, why it's needed, and the application process. Learn about how the IRB applies to your research and how it ensures ethical standards for safeguards and the protection of participants.     Workshop will be held in-person with a Zoom option.     Open to students, faculty, and staff!

Research Ethics Workshop: What to Know Before You Begin

Research Ethics: What to Know Before You Begin is presented by the UK Office of Research Integrity and will provide a general overview of the responsible conduct of research (RCR) for the scientist and scholar. Learn about the four common values associated with the responsible conduct of research and why it is critical in your research and creative scholarship to apply these values to your work.     Workshop will be held in-person with a Zoom option.     Open to students, faculty, and staff!
