Diversity in Clinical Research: Can We Do Better?

BERD BITES will be hosting Dr. Daniela Moga and her presentation "Diversity in Clinical Research: Can We Do Better?"     This presentation will briefly discuss the importance of diversity in clinical research, will provide a brief overview of the recent efforts to improve diversity to address health disparities, and will engage the audience in a discussion around practical approaches to achieve diversity in clinical research.    

Office of Research Integrity (ORI) Office Hours

November 21, 2023 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm ZOOM: https://uky.zoom.us/j/86930447062 Investigators, research staff, and/or students are encouraged to come with questions about ongoing research, developing research projects, the E-IRB system, and general IRB operations. A variety of staff from the ORI will be available to answer questions and provide in-person support. Both medical and non-medical researchers are welcome to attend. 

Clinical Research Update: Obtaining Coverage For Non-Indemnified Clinical Trials

The purpose of this presentation is to give an overview of the process for submitting non-indemnified clinical studies for review by the Risk Management Committee in order to be approved for coverage under the University’s self-insurance program. That program protects our physicians from medical malpractice claims, which could result from their participation in the conduct of clinical studies.  

13th Markesbery Symposium Community Session

Members of the OnCore technical support team will be available to answer questions and provide in-person support
