The Art & Science of Grant Funding: NSF for the Social Sciences

We’ll explore routes to funding through the National Science Foundation (NSF) with special focus on social sciences disciplines like psychology, sociology, and economics. This is part of "The Art & Science of Grant Funding," a grants training mini-series for the College of Arts and Sciences. In four one-hour workshops, the Proposal Development Office will explore unexpected routes to grant funding for UK’s A&S researchers. Find out how best to engage with each agency, learn about successful past projects, and come away with actionable tips to get started.

2026 UNITE Research Showcase

UNITE is excited to host the 2026 UNITE Research Showcase on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Gatton Student Center. The UNITE Research Priority Area is a university-wide initiative designed to bring together groups of investigators, trainees and colleges with a focus on impactful research. Through the support of the UK Office of the Vice President for Research, the RPA hosts a dynamic showcase to elevate research vital to the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
