Fortunately, you can protect yourself from data disasters large and small using good data management techniques. Earth Science Week Open House

Join the Kentucky Geological Survey at the 24th annual Earth Science Week Open House on October 16, 6 - 7:30 pm. The event is free, fun, and open to the general public.     This KGS event features exhibits, demonstrations, and activities about earth science, including an earthquake display and simulation, an augmented-reality topography sandbox, a volcano demonstration, a stream table with sedimentation and erosion, displays on fossils, rocks, minerals, and more!
