ChatGPT as Research Assistant? A Hands-On Experiment

Where do generative AI tools like ChatGPT fit into the research process for students, and how does it compare to other methods, like web searches or library resources? Join UK Libraries for AI Literacy Week at our new digital scholarship center, The Stacks, as we put ChatGPT to the test. Participants will work in groups to respond to the same research question using one of three different tools: ChatGPT, Google, and UK Libraries resources. They will reflect on the methods they use to produce useful results and compare them to the methods used by other groups.
