CRSO's Open Office Hours

Research investigators and staff are encouraged to come to the Clinical Research Support Office's (CRSO) weekly office hours with questions about any of the research technologies that are administered and supported by the CRSO. These include: OnCore CTMS Advarra eSource + EDC Advarra eREG Members of the CRSO’s Research Systems Management and Education (RSME) team will be available to answer questions and provide in-person support.

NIH Current and Pending (Other Support): SciENcv and UK Data Tools

This session provides NIH-required training on Current and Pending (Other Support) documents. We will walk through how to use UK Tableau reports to gather the required data and how to create and update Current and Pending Support documents in SciENcv for proposals, just-in-time requests, and progress reports (RPPRs). The session will also cover how to add and manage delegates in SciENcv and outline CGS’s review process. Presenters:

Navigating the NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy at UK

The NIH’s Data Management and Sharing (DMS) Policy, which went into effect in January 2023, has established new requirements for grant applicants to put forward a plan explaining how their research data will be made accessible to other researchers and the public. At this session, Research Data Librarian Isaac Wink will cover the major elements of the policy researchers need to know and provide guidance on writing successful data management and sharing plans.

Electronic Research Notebook Management for Research Managers

The focus of this session is on administrative features to help oversee the lab notebooks and items created across a lab. This includes creating notebooks, setting up inventory labs, designing workflows in the notebook, and managing permissions within a notebook.

Update Your Biosketch! NIH Common Form Changes & SciENcv Guidance

This one-hour webinar will help you quickly prepare for the required transition to the NIH Common Forms in SciENcv. We will walk you through the steps to get an ORCID iD and create a biosketch in SciENcv, pointing out key changes and differences in the new form, with tips for adding a delegate who can help you enter data.
